First to Know Sessions

Incoming students are invited to attend one of the First to Know sessions to learn more about specific processes or programs at the university.  Designed to support first-generation college students (but open to all students), First to Know sessions help students and family members understand how certain systems or processes work at the university, assist them in completing required paperwork, and provide support so that students do not miss required deadlines.

Spring 2025 sessions. 

All sessions occur over Zoom (registration details will be available here).  There will be a short presentation by the appropriate office and then time for students and family members to ask questions.  If there are complicated personal situations that require discussion/sharing of personal information, students will be directed to set up a separate appointment with the appropriate office on campus.
