How can we help you?

Starting on your very first day on campus, we're here to help you navigate your professional journey. Our career advisors can meet with you to offer support on exploring your major/career interests, writing a resume or cover letter, searching for an internship or job, obtaining graduate school information, and preparing for an interview. In addition to working one-on-one with you, we partner with local, regional and national organizations that are eager to hire Salem State Vikings. Explore all student services on our website!

Phone and Zoom Appointments 

Need help? We are still offering career development appointments via Zoom! To schedule an appointment please email career@salemstate.edu or schedule an appointment on Handshake. A staff member will then email you with the link to your Zoom appointment.

Need resume help? You can still have your resume reviewed by our staff by emailing it to resume@salemstate.edu and you will receive feedback within two business days.

Handshake is the career services portal available to all students and recent alumni. Employers looking to hire Salem State talent post thousands of job and internship opportunities on Handshake. You can upload resumes and cover letters, search and apply for jobs and internships, schedule appointments with career advisors, register for career-related events, and research employers on Handshake. Log in to Handshake with your Navigator username and password!
