The media access control address (MAC address) is a unique address used for communication for network access. Usually these are assigned by the manufacture of the NIC (network interface controller). these are assigned six groups of 2 hexadecimal digits. This address can assist in resolving network issues and may be requested by a technician. Sometimes the technician can locate the problem remotely and fix your access without bringing or sending your computer to a repair center.
