To use Office 365 programs on an iPad or on a Chromebook it will be necessary to download the Office 365 app from the app store. Once downloaded you will log in using your Salem State University credentials.
To use Office 365 programs on a laptop or desktop log into your Salem State University student email account and click the “Office 365” button located in top left hand corner.
A new page will load and you will see an Install Office button that will look similar to the example below.
Click “Install Office” to begin installing MS Office (includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote and more).
Access and Publisher are currently only available for PC.
As an alternative, you may also choose to use any of the online apps* shown and will not be required to install anything.
*Note: the online apps may not offer all the features that are available with the installed app.
Continue to follow the on screen prompts until this window appears.
Click “No thanks, maybe later” to complete the installation. You may always go back and configure this feature in the future if you would like.
If you choose this option be sure to use your email login (firstname.lastname@example.org followed by Navigator password) when prompted.
