The following Mother’s Rooms are located across campus for convenient access to private and secure lactation space. Below is a list of each space on campus. If you have any questions or need any assistance with a space, please contact Rebekah Boudreau in Human Resources at rboudreau@salemstate.edu or 978.542.7458. These spaces are accessible to employees, students and guests on campus.
- Bertolon School of Business Classroom Building 1: This is an ADA Mamava pod located on the first floor of the Bertolon School of Business building. The pod is a private space equipped with an outlet, lock and space for a stroller. You can access the pod by following the Mamava app instructions below.
- Ellison Campus Center: This space is located in the Ellison Campus Center, room 106 on the 1st floor, locating in a hallway between Counseling and Health Services and Career Services. This room is the first room on the left in this hallway. The door to this room is a switch latch that displays as occupied when in use. You can book or schedule the room by following the calendar instructions listed below. Booking the space is preferred but you may also access the space as a walk in if it is not in use.
- Gassett Fitness Center Atrium: This is an ADA Mamava pod located on the first floor of the O’Keefe Center near the entrance to the Gassett Fitness Center. The pod is a private space equipped with an outlet, lock, and space for a stroller. You can access the pod by following the Mamava app instructions below.
- Meier Hall: This space is located on the second floor of Meier Hall room 221. This room has a switch latch that displays as occupied when in use. You can book or schedule the room by following the calendar instructions listed below. Booking the space is preferred to but you may also access the space as a walk in if it is not in use.
Utilizing the Mamava Pods
- To utilize the Mamava pods at O’Keefe and Bertolon, please download the Mamava app.
- After downloading the app, make sure your Bluetooth in on.
- As you approach the pod, keep the app open and it will provide you the ability to unlock the pod.
Utilizing Meier Hall or Ellison Campus Center Spaces
- Meier Hall and Ellison campus center spaces operate with a "switch latch" that will display as "occupied" when in use.
- The space can be accessed any time it is needed without need of a reservation.
- If scheduling conflicts arrive please contact Human Resources for assistance at 978.542.6123.
