Reasons for Receiving a "Restricted" Status in CoVerified

Certain spaces on campus will require students to show a “CLEARED" status in their CoVerified app before granting entry access.

You could be restricted for the following reasons:

  • You did not complete your daily symptom report within the past 24 hours. To remedy, please complete your daily symptom report.
  • You are not in compliance with the COVID19 vaccine mandate. You will remain restricted until you submit your COVID19 vaccine documentation or exemption request and this has been reviewed and approved by health services (students) or HR (staff). Please note, it can take 1-3 business days for these documents to be reviewed. 
    • Students will need to upload their vaccine documentation to their student health portal
    • Staff and faculty will need to upload their vaccine documentation to CoVerified. 
  • You reported positive symptoms. You will be restricted for 24 hours. You should not access on campus, in person services with a restricted badge. Please contact SSU health services, 978.542.6413.
  • You are unvaccinated and did not receive a negative test result within the past 7 days. Please schedule an appointment for testing as soon as possible. Note, you will remain restricted until you receive negative results and should not access on campus, in person services or classes until you receive your negative results and a CLEARED badge. You can schedule an appointment on campus on your CoVerified app or upload off campus results. Please be mindful that off campus results can take up to 24 hours to review, Monday-Friday.
  • You've tested positive for COVID. You will remain restricted for 10 days while you are infectious to others and should be isolating. You should not access on campus, in person services or classes until you are cleared by health services and have a CLEARED badge.
  • You are unvaccinated and have been directly exposed to COVID19 and are in quarantine. You should not access on campus, in person services or classes until you are cleared by health services and have a CLEARED badge.
