Salem State University Food Pantry

Rice on shelves at Feed a Viking Food Pantry

More than 30% of college students nationwide face financial challenges at times that may include worrying about having enough to eat. The Salem State Feed A Viking Market is a resource for students who may be experiencing challenges with any sort of food insecurity. In the market, we have non-perishable food items as well as various toiletries and feminine hygiene products.

Market Location

Located on the ground floor of the Berry Library

Feed A Viking Market Hours

When academic classes are in session: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday; 11 am-5 pm.

When the Market is closed, students can find limited items in the food pantry on the first floor of the Ellison Campus Center next to Counseling and Health Services (Room 108A). Students' ClipperCard will give them access to the pantry and access to the Campus Center on weekends.
