The Financial Aid Office works diligently to award students promptly. Our office completes the awarding process on a rotating schedule based on student populations.
Students must monitor their To-Do List frequently for outstanding items that may prevent them from being awarded financial aid.
Incoming Undergraduate Day Students
Incoming undergraduate day students who meet the eligibility requirements for federal aid should expect to receive their financial aid package beginning in late Spring due to the 2024-205 FAFSA updates. Awarding for incoming students will continue every week, succeeding with some exceptions.
Graduate Students and Evening Students
Evening students in the School of Continuing and Professional Studies and graduate students who meet the eligibility requirements for federal aid should expect to receive their financial aid package beginning in early Summer due to the 2024-205 FAFSA updates.
Awarding for School of Continuing and Professional Studies (evening) and graduate students will continue every week, succeeding with some exceptions.
Returning Undergraduate Day Students
Returning undergraduate day students who meet the eligibility requirements for federal aid should expect to receive their financial aid package beginning in mid-summer due to the 2024-205 FAFSA updates. Returning students will only be packaged for financial aid if they have a complete file and no outstanding To-List Items that will hold their packaging.
Awarding for returning undergraduate day students will continue every week, succeeding with some exceptions.
