First to Know Sessions

Incoming students are invited to attend one of the First to Know sessions to learn more about specific university processes or programs. Designed to support first-generation college students (but open to all students), these sessions help students and family members understand how certain university systems or processes work, assist them in completing required paperwork, and provide support so that students do not miss required deadlines.

Spring 2025 Sessions

All sessions occur over Zoom (registration details will be available here). The appropriate office will give a short presentation, and then students and family members can ask questions.

If complicated personal situations require discussion/sharing of personal information, students will be directed to set up a separate appointment with the appropriate office on campus.
