Is TRIO free?
Yes. All TRIO services are provided at no cost to students.
How do I know if I qualify?
Students may qualify if they are first-generation, income-eligible, or have a documented disability, and meet federal eligibility requirements.
Do I have to be struggling academically?
No. Many TRIO students are doing well academically and participate because they want additional support, leadership opportunities, and preparation for graduate school or careers.
What services does TRIO provide?
Students receive individualized advising, tutoring, financial literacy education, career planning, graduate school preparation, workshops, and leadership opportunities.
How often do I meet with my Student Success Counselor?
Students typically meet several times each semester, with frequency based on individual needs and goals.
Can transfer students participate?
Yes. Eligible transfer students are encouraged to apply.
Does TRIO offer tutoring?
Yes. TRIO provides free tutoring for a variety of subjects.
