After filing a complaint of discrimination the university will review the complaint and determine the need for an investigation. Once the investigation begins, both parties will be notified.
If/when a formal complaint is properly filed, the university determines if an investigation is necessary. If so, the university will assign the matter to an Investigator.
Once the investigation begins, both parties will be notified. For more information please see pages 59 - 62 of the Equal Opportunity, Diversity and Affirmative Action Plan which outlines the investigation process, notice of outcome, the appeals process, sanctions and additional remedies.
