Wireless and Ethernet Access in Atlantic and Marsh Halls

In most dorm rooms, students who need to use an Ethernet port will plug into the 2nd port on the faceplate. In some spaces, that second port no longer exists. There is now an Aruba wireless access point (AP) on the wall. It looks a little like a thermostat, but it is an AP with Ethernet ports located on the bottom.

Aruba network

Marsh Hall -  all rooms have an Aruba AP on one side of the room. There are 4 ports on the bottom of the AP that may be used for wired connections.

Atlantic Hall 1st, 2nd, 3rd Floor - The living rooms and rooms A and D have an Aruba AP on one side of the room. There are 4 ports on the bottom of the AP that may be used for wired connections.

Atlantic Hall 4th floor - The single remaining port on the faceplate is for phone only. On this floor only, the Aruba AP is installed above the couch. Students can connect to the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th port, but NOT the 1st (labeled as PT).
