Frequently Asked Question
What type of appointments can and should be scheduled using the Health Services Portal
Answer
Currently, only appointments for health services can be scheduled using the portal.
You can schedule appointments that fall into the following categories for health services:
- Same day visit
- Routine health services appointment (not urgent)
- Lab test review
- Birth control start
- Birth control follow-up appointment
- Reproductive health appointment such as: STD testing, vaginal symptoms, pregnancy testing and sexual concerns
- Tobacco cessation
- Immunizations and/or PPD tests
- For immunizations, please call the front desk after you have scheduled your appointment to be sure that we can bill your insurance for the immunizations that are needed.
- For PPD (TB) tests, you need to schedule 2 appointments via the portal. Health Services will need to see you 48 hours (2 days) after the initial appointment when the TB Test was planted. This second appointment is for a read of the test. We only plant TB tests on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We are not open on the weekends and therefore can not plant TB tests on Thursday or Fridays. If you have any questions or issues scheduling these appointments, please call the front desk at 978.542.6413 and we will assist you.
