Classes may be dropped through your Navigator account or in person. Students may drop classes through the end of the add/drop period. If you choose to drop classes, please refer to the published academic calendar for the add/drop dates for the semester. If you wish to drop a course after the add/drop period, this is called a withdrawal and will result in a grade of W being assigned for the class.
Some classes may require departmental consent to withdraw which means you will need permission to withdraw from the class. For instance, to withdraw from a first year seminar you will need to contact the First Year Experience office. Other classes may require you to speak to the department that class is being offered through.
