You can follow the instructions to withdraw yourself through your Navigator account until the last day to withdraw and receive a W.
Withdrawal after the Add/Drop period will not result in a full refund. Please review the Graduate Refund Policy for more details.
Before you withdraw from any courses, you should consult with Lois Fitzpatrick-Daley, the graduate financial aid administrator, to see how a withdrawal will affect your academic standing and financial aid. She can be reached by email at lois.fitzpatrickdaley@salemstate.edu.
International students on F or J student visas must also receive authorization to withdraw from the Center for International Education (cie@salemstate.edu) to make sure you do not violate visa rules.
If it is after the last day to withdraw, you may request a withdrawal under some extraordinary circumstances. You will need to request the withdrawal through the School of Graduate Studies, provide a brief written explanation regarding the reasons for your withdrawal, and provide supporting documentation.
If you have any questions, please contact the School of Graduate Studies at 978.542.6323 or graduate@salemstate.edu.
