A unique Salem State user ID (SSU login) is assigned to faculty and staff and are created automatically. This user name is for logging into systems at Salem State.
The Salem State user ID and password is the official means for accessing university systems. Salem State uses single sign on for most applications and systems. The more common application and systems are Polaris, email, Canvas, library databases, Apps Anywhere, VPN, wireless and other network connections.
