After logging into Polaris, select “Launchpad”, then “Parking Permit Request”. A temporary pass will be e-mailed for use until your new hangtag or decal arrives in the mail.

How do I report my time and view my paycheck?

Salem State University uses SSTA (Self Service Time and Attendance) through the MASS HR website where employees can enter time, view paystubs, update their personal information and more.

To login for the first time, your username is your employee ID# and your password is your employee ID# + the last 4 digits of your social security number. You will be prompted to change your password and select security questions.

An HR representative can assist you with reporting time for the first time. This will also be reviewed in detail at your New Employee Orientation.

How do I change my address or tax information?

To change your address or federal tax information (W4) after becoming employed with Salem State, you must log in to MASS HR website, SSTA (Self Service Time and Attendance).

To change your MA tax withholding, you must come to the Human Resources Office to complete the MA M-4 form.

Helpful Contacts

The HR Office is your first point of contact for questions related to payroll and personal information and to assist you with password resets if necessary.
