In addition to reviewing the First Year Seminar FAQs about the Salem State University first year seminar course, first-year (freshmen) entering for fall 2026 are encouraged to attend an information session before selecting their first year seminar for the spring semester. The process to select first year seminars and the list of options can be found on the website.
Each session is approximately 30-45 minutes and will allow time for discussion/questions. Students can register for a session by clicking the REGISTER HERE link below. Registration closes 48 hours before each session (unless the session is on a Monday, for which registration closes the Friday prior).
