SSU Email - Mac OS

Configuring student e-mail on a Mac laptop

These instructions are intended to serve as a reference and may vary slightly due to MAC OS version and device.

To start, be sure the Microsoft Office application is installed on your computer (this includes Outlook). Refer to the install Office instructions.

  1. Launch Outlook (go to Applications to locate and launch the app).
  2. Outlook will automatically detect the email account you used to sign in.
  3. Click Add jdoe@salemstat.edu.
  4. The next screen will indicate the account has been added. Click "Done". 

Congratulations! Your SSU email account is now accessible through the Microsoft Outlook app.
